Out in the Open - About the Tour

OUT IN THE OPEN is touring middle school, high school, and college campuses this Fall. The show will highlight campus multicultural, LGBTQA and poetry events, such as LGBTQ History Month. We are also offering workshops, led by playwright/poet Andy Cofino, to engage students, educators, and faculty about the issues discussed in the show.

Workshop Offerings

All workshops are led by playwright/poet Andy Cofino, run 90 minutes long, and are ideal for a group of 25-35 students.

For Middle School and High School Students:

For All Ages:
• LGBTQ History 101
• Transforming Personal Stories into Slam Poetry
• Working Together: How to Be an Ally and Why It's Important
